Additional Services
In addition to providing special inspections for any type and size project, K Special Inspection specializes in structural steel fabrication shop certification and new product testing and reporting.

According to Section 1704 of the International Building Code, fabrication shops are required to be registered and approved. We have specialized training and quality control procedures needed to train your employees and help your shop go through the training and application processes required by the International Building Code to become a registered and licensed shop. We have gone through the process with several overseas shops to help them become some of the very first LA-certified overseas shops ever.

ICC-ES is the United States’ leader in evaluating building products for compliance with code. ICC-ES does technical evaluations of building products, components, methods, and materials. The evaluation process culminates with the issuance of reports on code compliance, which are made available free of charge to code officials, contractors, specifiers, architects, engineers, and anyone else with an interest in the building industry and construction. K Special Inspections can go through the process of getting your product evaluated by ICC-ES and help you get a new product tested and certified to use for construction in the United States and Canada.
